Since I introduced the new eLAIX addon on the last ILIAS conference in 2006, there have been more than 2000 downloads of the eLAIX package from my website. During the last year I received a lot of e-mails from people giving me very enthusiastic feedback, how easy the writing of learning modules is, how much time they save with eLAIX. I really do appreciate this kind of feedback. eLAIX has been developed to save time. However, the majority of e-mails came with an additional question and an attached problematic document. On the one hand, there are a few special cases that causes problems what attests eLAIX to be all in all quite stable. On the other hand, the fixing of documents, sending it back with a short explanation, has to be done.

With one single donation that eLAIX received so far - even if this was a generous one - and in face of a growing eLAIX community, I had to find a suitable solution, to hold my support open. In addition to this, there are plenty of ideas, how to improve eLAIX. Your membership will make both possible.

And of course, the eLAIX Addon will always remain free Open Source software.
