I'm happy to announce, that the next eLAIX release will come soon with some bug fixes and a new handling for formulas, that will be no longer exported as graphics but as LaTeX-statements. Thus the formulas remain editable and scalable in ILIAS.

Further releases will provide the following new features:

1. Structuring text to up to 7 levels - ordered by the University of Münster
In order to structure complex juristic textes, the University of Münster ordered special functions to indent and automatically label passages of text within a paragraph.

2. Modifying existing learning modules - ordered by the University of Cologne
Export an ILIAS learning module, open it with eLAIX, edit it offline and overwrite the online version by reimport (instead of generally creating a new learning module). This feature will be implemented in close collaboration with the ILIAS-Coreteam.

3. Glossary transfer - ordered by the Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau, CH
OpenOffice.org generates an index for a document. The index will be transfered into the ILIAS glossary.
